M+S is looking for an innovative Electrical Installation Technician based in The Netherlands to join our dynamic team across a range of our products.     
The work is multidisciplinary and often requires independent problem solving and initiative.           

Overall Responsibility      

• The incumbent will be expected to demonstrate versatile engineering knowledge, strong planning and time management skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.

Focus Areas 1 Main responsibilities of Focus Area

• Working alongside the Mechanical Installation Technician to manage and coordinate the assembly and installation of lithium-ion battery systems onto truck-trailers and other refrigerated transport units.     
• Apply multidisciplinary engineering concepts to ensure electrical, electronic, and basic mechanical functionality of installed units.     
• Perform multidisciplinary tests and analyses to diagnose potential installations faults and liaise with Product Owner and Engineers to reach suitable solutions.    
• Assist aftersales technicians in troubleshooting systems failures and make recommendations for system repairs and improvements.    
• Perform other day-to-day tasks as assigned by the Product Owner.            

Key Competencies

• An interest in working with renewable energy and energy storage systems, as well as the aptitude to understand electrical storage systems for the purpose of assembly, installation, and repair.     
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and certification required to fulfil the day-to-day functions of the position, such as obtaining a forklift license    
• Willingness to undergo internal training with regard to working on battery electric and 3-phase power electronic devices.    
• Ability to work well in a team, but also independently.            

Minimum Requirements

• A tertiary level Engineering qualification in a relevant field such as Electronic/ Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering.      
• 3+ years’ professional experience in a similar field.     
• Valid drivers license
