Overall Responsibility:
- The Digital Marketing Specialist holds the key role of creating and executing digital marketing strategies with the goal of boosting the visibility of SHP's brand portfolio. They act as the link between the business and its digital and social media followers, both current and targeted.
- Collaborating with the brand marketing team, the specialist drives the development and administration of digital marketing plans across various channels like email, social media, website, and online advertising.
- They are accountable for planning, executing, and monitoring the Digital and Social Media Plan with the aim of enhancing brand recognition, refining marketing endeavors, and augmenting sales.
- The Digital Marketing Specialist carries out market research and analysis to comprehend consumer behaviour and optimize digital marketing strategies accordingly. They establish specific objectives for digital and social marketing and use analytics to assess and report on the success of digital marketing plans, campaigns, and make informed decisions based on data.
- In line with the plans, they oversee and coordinate the production of high-quality, original, and relevant content for the company's digital platforms, including social channels and websites.
- They are also responsible for community management, monitoring, moderating, and responding to audience comments on social channels, and promoting shareable videos and images.

Focus Area 1- Contribute to the marketing, digital and social media strategy to align with business and brand goals and reach the right consumers
- Contribute to the brand marketing strategies to ensure alignment between business, brand and social brand objectives
- Contribute to the development, implementation and management our digital and social media strategy
- Perform research on current benchmark trends, target audiences and preferences
Focus Area 2- Facilitate increasing brand awareness, consideration and conversions through various social media & digital channels and content pieces
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
- Facilitate copy and content design against the topics to ensure content is informative, appealing and on brand strategy and objectives
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- The management of SHP websites - shop and brand including external partners
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
Focus Area 3- Implement digital and social media management structure and process to manage social strategies and plans effectively and manage stakeholder deliverables.
- Implement a monthly content calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns and always-on activity
- Create a regular content production and posting schedule, according to agreed budget
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Production and Operations to ensure alignment against social media strategy, execution and brand consistency
- Managing relationships with digital media publishers and platforms.
- Responsible for Email marketing (strategy, content development, and implementation)
Focus Area 4- Oversee day-to-day management of always on-content, campaigns and community management including budgets
- Adhere to posting schedule and oversee social media content
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Propose spend against campaigns and always-on content according to budget and obtain approval for implementation
- Set targets against proposed spend to achieve objective
- Google advertising management and implementation including external partners
- Monitor spend and adjust where required
Focus Area 5- Define most important social media KPI's and reports Measure the success of every social media campaign, take learnings and improve (where required) in future campaign
- Measure the success of always-on social media activity and apply learnings monthly
- Report back on spend and performance against targets set
- Use and identify new social media marketing tools as agreed
- Manage external suppliers and in time monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Requirements of the Role:
- Qualification: Degree or Diploma in marketing or a related field
- Years Experience: minimum of 3 years of digital and social media management, digital advertising or related industry experience
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry, as well as experience using data and analytics to inform decision making and a deep understanding of digital and social media platforms and tools.
- Creative eye and conceptualisation and copywriting ability
- Demonstrable experience contributing to or managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and social media advertising campaigns
- Experience in planning and coordinating social media marketing plans
- Experience in budget management
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
