A well-established financial services network in the Menlyn hub is looking for a Short Term Insurance Administrator to keep client portfolios humming: processing changes, managing renewals, supporting claims, and staying on top of underwriting requirements.
Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Advise and recommend appropriate short-term insurance products
- Assist clients with quotations, new business, amendments, and renewals
- Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
- Follow up on outstanding documentation and underwriting requirements
- Liaise with insurers on quotations, underwriting and claims progress
- Capture and administer policy information accurately (detail matters here)
- Support clients with claims queries and day-to-day policy servicing
- Ensure FAIS and regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate client files and records

Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- FAIS compliant
- Class of Business completed (personal & commercial lines)
- 1–3 years’ short-term insurance experience
- RE5 (advantageous)
- Relevant short-term insurance qualification (advantageous)
- Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans / English)

Salary
- The proposed salary for the role is R15k - R20k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
