Purpose of the position:
Controlling all the capital projects according to specific capitals procedures and processes.
Position: Project Cost Controller.Industry: Mining Industry.Location: Phalaborwa, Limpopo South Africa.Salary: Market related.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting.
Training:
- Relevant Registered skills programs.
- Completion of SHEQ /First Aid/ General safety , Health &Environment Training.
- HIRA.
- SHEQ COP Basic Course.
- Quality awareness.
Experience:
- 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience in projects & operational cost in the chemical /mining environment.
- 3 years plus must be in a team leader’s role.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Compliance with all control in the Company, Planning and Coordinating operational activities .
- Determine and accruing carry overs.
- Reconciling fixed assets register to General Ledger.
- Budgeting and Management of Financial resources., planning, management and controlling of Financla resources.
- Record Management and Reporting, ensuring effective record keeping of Sales information and preparation of reports.
- Completing and submitting repair documents to relevant parties.
- Preparing monthly CAPEX and repair equipment reports.
- Preparing depreciation calculations.
- Implementing and maintain asset register .
