Purpose of the position:
Managing and controlling the maintenance of the equipment to maximize equipment availability at the lowest cost according to the Companies Standards and Objectives.

Position:           Conveyor Belt Specialist
Industry:          Mining Industry.
Location:         Phalaborwa, Limpopo South Africa.
Salary:               Market related.


Qualifications: ?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering(Mechanical, Chemical/Chemistry/ Polmer Science)
• Registration with Professional bodies(ECSA,AMRE)
• Recognize certification in Conveyor Belt Maintenance.
• BSc / BTech Engineering ONLY ( Extraction Metallurgical/Civil/ Hydrology) disciplines, will be considered.
• Manage Development certificate will be an advantage.

 
Experience: ?

• 8 years plus related experience in a production, plant maintenance/mining environment.
• 5 Years plus experience in a technical support and upgrades in conveyor belt installations.
• 3 Years’ experience in installation, maintenance ,repair and troubleshooting of conveyor belt systems.
• 4 Years in a supervisory role.
• 5 years plus experience in Tailing Storage Facilities(TSF) in an extraction/production industry( mining/chemical).
