Head: Asset-backed Recoveries

A senior leadership opportunity for an experienced recoveries and legal collections professional to take ownership of a high-volume, asset-backed recovery function within a complex, performance-driven environment.

Minimum requirements:

• Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law (postgraduate advantageous)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in senior legal collections management
• Strong commercial and strategic leadership skills
• Experience in high-volume recoveries and legal environments
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive performance
• Define and drive recovery strategies across portfolios
• Oversee call centre collections and legal escalation decisions
• Manage end-to-end legal recovery processes
• Optimise asset recovery (movable and immovable)
• Manage external attorney firms and performance
• Drive ROI, cost-to-collect, and overall recovery performance
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and stakeholder alignment
