Accountant


Germiston, Gauteng
Salary: R33,000 - R41,000ctc (based on Experience]

Minimum requirements:

• 3 - 5 years' experience in an Accountant role 
• SAGE Pastel Evolution 
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws 
• Strong financial processing, analysis, reconciliation and reporting skills
• Creditors and debtors’ management
• Daily/monthly Bank reconciliation checks
• Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts
• Processing Accruals and provision journals
• Perform month-end and year-end accounts closure process
• Year-end adjustments and facilitating audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant legal requirements
• Checking all reconciliations and ensure payments are done timeously
• Ensure all statutory returns are submitted and paid timeously 
• (SARS VAT/STATS)
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Insurance Monthly Journal
• Forex payment preparation
