DECEASED ESTATES AND TRUSTS - LEGAL PRACTITIONER
Pietermaritzburg
Salary is R20,000 – R25,000. Negotiable based on experience.

Minimum requirements:

• LLB degree.
• Admitted attorney
• Practical experience in trusts, fiduciary matters,
  curatorship and deceased estates
• Sound knowledge of Wills, Trusts, Succession and
  Fiduciary Law
• Understanding of trustee and curator bonis duties and
  responsibilities
• Understanding of applicable trust, estate, fiduciary and
  regulatory legislation
• Experience in legal drafting, document review, legal
  research and written advice
• Experience in client consultation and taking
  instructions
• Experience dealing with the Master of the High Court
  and related processes
• Ability to interpret financial information relevant to
  trusts, curatorships and estates
• Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• Computer Literacy
  Sound experience and skills in:
  - MS Word – Intermediate/Advanced.
  - MS Excel – Good.
  - Internet and Email.
  - LegalEase
