Accounting Manager

Minimum requirements:

• Registered with a recognised professional body
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting practice environment
• Proven ability to manage and supervise a team
• Experience managing multiple client portfolios and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to clients
• Highly organised and deadline-driven

Technical Competencies:

• VAT reconciliations and submissions to SARS
• Drafting and reviewing financial statements
• Reviewing general ledger reconciliations and accounting records
• Explaining financial statements and ledgers to clients
• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Experience supervising junior accountants or trainees
