ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

Location: Tzaneen, Limpopo

An established hospitality resort is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily service operations and ensure excellent guest experiences.

Minimum requirements:

• At least five years' relevant experience in a four- or five-star hotel, lodge or resort.
• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage Management.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, stock control and cost management.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Professional presentation and a guest-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with managing restaurant, bar and banqueting operations.
• Supervise, train and support Food & Beverage staff.
• Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor stock, costs and departmental expenditure.
• Assist with staff scheduling and performance management.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards.
