Our well-known client within the Agricultural sector within Bloemfontein, is seeking a Safety Officer to support their dynamic team!

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate of equivalent to NQF4.
• SAMTRAC or NBOSH certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer (Preferred 4 years' experience).
• Valid RSA driver's license with own reliable transport.
• Qualified accident and incident investigator will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessment and propose preventative measures.
• Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
• Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
• Ensure preparation and implementation of Safety and Health plan.
• Stand-by afterhours as and when required.
