Salary: R25,000 – R35,000 per month + Commission (Variable & Performance-Based)
Our client, a leader in intelligent lighting and shading solutions, is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Lutron Salesperson to join their team in Sandton, Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with proven Lutron product knowledge to drive revenue growth and build strong relationships within the luxury residential and commercial automation sectors.Minimum Requirements
- Proven Lutron product knowledge is essential.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in sales within the smart home, lighting control, electrical, or automation industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in consultative and solution-based selling.
- Strong understanding of lighting control and shading systems.
- Established relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors will be advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Professional, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Lutron lighting control and shading solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, architects, designers, developers, and contractors.
- Provide expert product knowledge and tailored solutions to clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and project specifications.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline reports using CRM systems.
