A Big 5 Game Lodge in Barberton, Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee all aspects of lodge operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, capable of delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing daily operations efficiently.

REQUIREMENT:
* RSA ID and legal residence essential
* Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or Senior Manager in a hospitality environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Strong guest service and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple departments (FOH, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance)
* Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability
* Professional, well-presented, and guest-focused
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee daily lodge operations and ensure smooth running of all departments
* Deliver and maintain exceptional guest experiences
* Manage and lead all lodge staff, including training and performance management
* Control budgets, costs, and operational expenses
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and lodge standards
* Handle guest queries and resolve complaints professionally
* Coordinate between departments to ensure seamless operations
* Drive service excellence and maintain lodge standards
 
PACKAGE:
* R45,000 – R50,000 per month (Negotiable – DOE)
* Live-in accommodation provided
