A luxury 5 Star game lodge in the Pilanesberg region is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the lodge while leading and developing the housekeeping team. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for service excellence and luxury guest experiences.

REQUIREMENT: 

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Housekeeping Manager within a 4 or 5 Star lodge or hotel
• Proven experience managing housekeeping operations and staff
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience with stock control, linen management, and housekeeping administration
• Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate a housekeeping team
• Computer literate
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Oversee the daily operation of the Housekeeping department
• Ensure guest rooms, suites, and public areas are maintained to 5 Star standards
• Supervise, train, and develop the housekeeping team
• Manage linen, uniforms, guest laundry, and housekeeping inventory
• Conduct regular room inspections and quality control checks
• Monitor departmental stock levels and control costs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly 

PACKAGE: 

• R25,000 – R30,000 per month (DOE)
• Live-in accommodation provided
