Stellenbosch – A prestigious wine estate in the Cape Winelands is looking to appoint a well-organised, service-oriented Marketing Assistant to provide support to its dynamic Marketing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality who thrives in a refined, fast-paced environment and takes pride in contributing to exceptional guest experiences.
Purpose of the Role: This role supports the Marketing Department with day-to-day coordination of campaigns, events, digital content, and client engagement. It also includes front-facing duties within various outlets of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To


Campaign & Marketing Support

  • Coordinate elements of digital and print campaigns
  • Assist with research and reporting on marketing performance
  • Liaise with media, influencers, and suppliers
  • Manage requests for design and promotional content
  • Keep marketing databases and cloud folders up to date
E-Commerce & Wine Club Assistance
  • Facilitate online orders, invoicing, and deliveries
  • Ensure product listings are accurate and current
  • Maintain customer records and assist with reporting
  • Support Wine Club engagement and communication
Client-Facing Activities & Events
  • Help prepare and host wine tastings and marketing events
  • Provide warm, professional client service across all platforms
  • Handle queries and build rapport with new and existing clients
  • Assist with Gallery & Boutique Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day activities and maintain neat storage areas
  • Assist with product and visitor-related enquiries
Online Presence
  • Maintain listings and respond to reviews on key platforms
  • Assist with seasonal promotions and media collaboration
Criteria
  • Matric; a relevant marketing qualification will be an advantage
  • Prior experience in a similar support role, ideally within hospitality or wine
  • Highly organised with strong time-management skills
  • Energetic, proactive, and able to take initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused with a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Comfortable engaging with clients and building positive relationships
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with digital marketing tools and content creation platforms is advantageous
  • Interest in food, wine, and luxury hospitality is beneficial
  • Valid driver’s license required
