Franschhoek: My client, a contemporary restaurant based in the Franschhoek area, is seeking to employ a BREAKFAST Chef de Partie who can consistently deliver a high-quality breakfast offering with exceptional timing, presentation and efficiency. This role suits someone who enjoys early service, thrives in a well-organised environment and takes pride in delivering a refined morning experience.
Purpose of the Role: Oversee and execute breakfast service, ensuring quality, timing and consistent presentation.
 
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Executing breakfast menu items to standard
  • Managing early-morning mise-en-place
  • Ensuring timely service and plating consistency
  • Monitoring section cleanliness and organisation
  • Assisting with menu improvements when required
Criteria
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant culinary certificate or diploma
  • Strong technical abilities and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and professional kitchen standards
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate and maintain high kitchen standards
 
Market related salary / flexible hospitality hours apply / this role is reserved for a Chef who reside in or within close proximity to Franschhoek
