An established collection of boutique luxury hotels in Mauritius is seeking a CLUSTER HR MANAGER to oversee the full human resource function across multiple properties.
This is a senior, multi-site role suited to an HR professional who is equally comfortable shaping people strategy and rolling up their sleeves on day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will work closely with General Management and department heads to drive consistent HR practices, a positive workplace culture, and operational excellence across the cluster.

Core Criteria:
  • Due to work permit laws, local Mauritian candidates are preferred 
  • Proven experience in a Cluster or multi-property HR Manager role within luxury hospitality
  • Strong working knowledge of Mauritian labour law and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience managing the full HR cycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training
  • Solid understanding of payroll coordination and benefits administration
  • Demonstrated ability to handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally and impartially
  • Experience with HR systems, reporting, and workforce analytics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple properties simultaneously
Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across both properties within the cluster
  • Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to HR policies and procedures
  • Lead recruitment for both management and operational positions, including interviews, onboarding, and induction
  • Partner with department heads to identify and address staffing needs proactively
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, misconduct investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Advise managers on labour law compliance and HR best practices
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning, development, and succession planning initiatives
  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and support managers with coaching and performance discussions
  • Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compensation benchmarking
  • Prepare HR reports, analytics, and workforce metrics for senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, health and safety standards, and company policy
  • Act as a strategic HR business partner to operational leadership across both properties
  • Support organisational planning, change management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Coordinate and report on monthly HOD training activity
