A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter

Area: Morningside
Children’s Ages: 7 years old – Girl
Working hours: Monday – Friday 13:00 – 18:00
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
Duties: Collect from school, take to extra murals, prepare snacks and meals, assist with homework, assist with bathtime routine. Ad hoc Saturday’s may be required with prior notice and paid additionally.
Special Requirements: We are looking for a mature female candidate who has completed their matric certificate and ideally studying towards a tertiary education. The ideal applicant must be a confident driver and be willing to travel with the family occasionally.
Start Date and contract term: January 2026 – permanent
Salary: R12 000 - R13 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)
 
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
