Working hours: Candidate must stay available full days (Mon–Fri), however general working hours will be approximately 3 afternoons per week (14h30–18h00) and one weekend day (09h00–18h00), plus one evening per week (until 22h00 latest). Flexibility is essential as the specific days depend on Jordan’s extra-mural schedule, which changes each term.

Child’s Age: 10 years (ADHD) – Boy
Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: The child is on Amfexa, a slow-release ADHD medication that helps calm him and improve focus.
Support Style: He needs assistance with organisation and time management.
Working hours: Candidate must stay available full days (Mon–Fri), however general working hours will be approximately 3 afternoons per week (14h30–18h00) and one weekend day (09h00–18h00), plus one evening per week (until 22h00 latest). Live in or Live out: Live-out. However, the family regularly goes away on weekends - the candidate should be available to accompany them locally and possibly for overseas travel.
Duties: Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Run general family errands, Grocery shopping on your behalf, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Bathing your children, Prepare meals for your children, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement), Travel with the family
Special Requirements: The family is looking for a high-calibre, extremely flexible candidate who is comfortable adapting to last-minute changes and enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle. Preferably aged 23–35, with teaching/tutoring experience and prior experience supporting children with ADHD.
Start Date and contract term: ASAP start – Permanent
Salary: R22 000 – R28 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km
‼️ Please note - the family is offering a premium salary as they do not wish to count hours or overtime. Instead, they are seeking a reliable and flexible candidate who can commit fully to the role and be available when needed.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
