A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children

Area: Oranjezicht, Cape Town
Children’s Ages: 5 and 9 years – Girls
Working hours: Monday to Wednesday 13:30 to 17:00, Thursday 13:30 to 19:00
School holiday hours: Same/similar hours to above
Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, engage in intellectually stimulating play & activities with the child, bathe your children, prepare meals for your children, prepare dinner for your family, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)
Special Requirements: Female, 21+, Someone caring, dependable, fun, responsible, enthusiastic, and flexible, Good understanding of Afrikaans to assist with 9-year-olds homework
Start Date and contract term: Monday 19th January 2026 – permanent
Salary: R8 000 – R8 500 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
