Working hours: Mon - Fri (Hours are generally between 13:00 - 18:00, but will only be required on average for 3 hours per day)
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
 
Area: Bredell (Benoni Area)
Children’s Ages: 10 and 14 years old – boys
Working hours: Mon - Fri (Hours are generally between 13:00 - 18:00, but will only be required on average for 3 hours per day)
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
Duties: Both boys participate in sport, and the au pair is generally responsible for collecting them from school. They are largely independent with their studies, although the au pair may be   asked to sit with the younger child to assist with homework or test preparation when needed. On average, the daily working hours will be 3 hours. All extra murals take place at school, so it is uncommon for the au pair to transport them anywhere other than between school and home. Flexibility would be great if the candidate can provide any. Weekends may be required with prior notice (based on the candidates availability) and paid additionally if needed.
Start Date and contract term: Early January 2026 - permanent
Salary: R8000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)
 
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
