A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
 
Area: Parkmore
Ages: Grade 5 and 9, but main focus is on the grade 5 boy
Neurodivergence snapshot:  Grade 5 boy is dyslexic and ADHD and requires assistance with homework and exam preparation
Support style:  Preference is for candidate that has experience with dyslexia and ADHD and qualification or studying towards remedial teaching to support the homework and exam prep considering the specific need.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 15:00 – 18:00
School Holidays: Same as above
Duties: Core responsibility is to assist with homework/ school projects/ study and test preparation. Be proactive with the school activities, extra reading, pre-emptive exam preparation.  Occasional school and extra mural drop off and pick up.
Additional Requirements: First language Afrikaans speaking person, remedial teaching experience or studying towards remedial teaching is preference.  Alternatively teaching experience or studying towards a teaching qualification
Start date: 11 January 2027 – permanent contract
Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) depending on qualifications and experience + SARS rates per km (R4.95)
 
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
