We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Citrix Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team at Datacentrix Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and high-level support of our Citrix environment across the organization. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Citrix technologies and play a critical role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and published applications

Requirements:

• Matric Qualification
• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or similar
• 5 + years’ supporting Citrix in a senior position
• Experience supporting either Hyper-V, VMware or Nutanix AHV
• Good understanding of Citrix and Microsoft server infrastructure

Overall Responsibilities:

• Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Support Citrix Application Delivery Controllers
• Support Citrix DaaS
• Proactive Citrix support via Goliath monitoring
• Proactive analysis and reporting on Citrix system health
• Patch management of Citrix systems
• Assist with escalations from 1st and 2nd line support
