Wartburg Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Mechanic to join the team.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•  Qualified diesel mechanic and or trade test certificates
• Agricultural background / experience preferred
• Extensive repair and maintenance knowledge of farm equipment
• Must have a high level of energy with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to speak Zulu advantageous
• Valid drivers license

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

•  Maintenance and repairs on all machinery (bigger repair jobs will be sent to engineering companies)
• Servicing vehicles
• Maintenance of poultry houses and equipment
• Possibly:
• Assist with labour and possibly set up of tasks for labourers
• Calibrating Agric machines
• Assist with cane operation,
• Assist with chicken i.e. vaccinations, house checks etc
• Assist with cattle i.e. dipping, branding etc
