The ideal candidate will be someone currently working in Nigeria or someone with Nigerian citizenship
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/MBA in Finance or Accounting
- A professional certification e.g., ICAN, CIMA, CFA
- Good communication
- Computer Literate (advance competence in MS Office)
- of 1-year previous experience in a similar role
- 3 years accounting experience
- Deal oriented
- Leadership competencies
- Comfortable with the use of an ERP; SAP, Navision, Sage or QuickBooks
- Good industry exposure.
- Fluency in Hausa advantageous

- Producing and publishing financial statements.
- Overseeing various accounting operations.
- Monitoring expenditure.
- Forecasting revenue.
- Ensuring accuracy of financial information.
- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
- High-level financial reporting and analysis.
- Regular budget consolidation.
- Cash flow management.
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
- Stakeholder management.
- Debt management and collection.
- Preparing company tax and BAS statements.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice.
- Payroll processing.
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings.

- Identifying accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
- Managing quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting.
- Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Managing and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
