Prins Albert Area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Sheep and Stone fruit Farm Manager to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Diploma /Degree
• 5 years farm management experience
• 2-3 years’ experience with sheep and apricots
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Mechanically orientated
• Computer Literate
• Valid driver’s license

 RESPONSIBILITIES /DUTIES

• Establishment and maintenance of pastures for sheep
• Dipping and management of sheep (liaise with vet, tagging, sale, purchase)
• Irrigation, fertilise and management of pastures and apricot trees for optimum returns.
• Fertilise and management of apricot trees to produce optimum fruit
• Liaise with suppliers, service providers to order stock and other consumables
• Manage workers
