Champagne Valley Area, Winterton – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Farm Manager/ Supervisor to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
• At least 7 years’ experience in a game farm/ ranger position
• Valid rifle license
• Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Must have a high level of energy with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
• Maintenance oriented – general electrical, building, and plumbing knowledge
• Ability to speak Zulu advantageous
• Valid driver’s license

 DUTIES

• Managing all staff that work on the farm
• Manage the clocking system and submit accurate staff attendance reports
• Manage the weekly sales of hay bales during season
• Routine inspection and repairs to fencing
• Basic maintenance of farm equipment and management of when assets need to be repaired by service providers
• Oversee outside contractors that may come onto the farm from time to time
• Be hands on with DIY repairs, general electrical, plumbing, or basic building requirements from time to time
• Have an understanding of planting fruit and vegetables for own consumption
• General landscaping and garden care
