Bronkhorstspruit Area – Gauteng: Our client is looking for a Mining, Maintenance Supervisor to join the team.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•  Minimum 5 years’ experience as a farm manager.
• Experience in sand farming/mining will be an advantage.
• Operator experience required.
• Certificates for TLB, Tractor, Excavator, Bobcat Skid Steer will be an advantage.
• Diesel mechanic experience will be an advantage
• Handy-man skills is a must
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Code 10 or Code 11 License required: Code 14 preferred.
• Must have a valid PDP.
• Must be well-spoken, proven leadership skills

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

•  Must be willing to relocate to the farm and live there permanently to act as farm manager and groundskeeper.
• Handling the marketing and sale of sand products produced on the farm, supervising & coordinating mining operations.
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Must be able to operate machinery such as a TLB, tipper truck, tractor, etc.
• Must be a good manager and able to work well in a team environment.
• Should be able & willing to do minor repairs on buildings, fences, etc.
• Assist with managing and maintaining farm capex, scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Must be able to process product orders & coordinate deliveries to meet communicated deadlines.
