Westminster Area (between Ladybrand & Tweespruit) – Free State: Our client is looking for an Agricultural Machine Operator & Mechanical Manager to join the team.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Mechanical trade certificate or diploma advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Previous crop farming experience with maize, sunflowers, soya & teff advantageous
• Experience in or managing a factory / warehouse / processing facility advantageous.
• Computer literate
• Preferably from an English background, &/or able to speak Sotho.
• Honest, reliable & hard-working.
• Proven experience working and repairing all farm related implements, including bakkies and tractors
• Valid drivers license

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Operating Case IH combine & spray rig.
• Calibration, repair & effective use of various farm equipment.
• The duties of the role will be expanded based on the candidate’s experience and the farm’s seasonal priorities.
