Port Harcourt Area – Nigeria: Our client is looking for a GM - Poultry, Livestock & Cropping Farm to join the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or degree beneficial but not essential
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a farm manager
• Must be mechanically and maintenance orientated
• Computer literate, sound knowledge of MS Excel essential
• Good English communication skills
• Dynamic, resourceful and self-motivated
• Ability to adapt and work in challenging conditions
• A team player with a strong sense of integrity
• Hard working - Willing to work weekends
• Prepared to work on Bachelor’s Status

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

•  Drive production
• Coordinate between a multi-disciplined team
• Develop and implement new management systems to improve existing facilities
• Initiate new farming projects off the ground
• Establish good relationships with local partners and suppliers
• Effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient resource allocation
• Evaluate and optimize production methods, seeking opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
• Provide regular reporting on production output and costs
• Submit monthly budget and cash flow forecasts
• Facilitate meetings between all stakeholders
