Bengo Province Area – Angola: Our client is looking for a Farm Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years previous fruit farming experience
• Computer literate
• Previous banana farming experience advantageous
• Proven ability to work with and manage staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mechanically orientated advantageous
• Valid driver’s license

 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
 

• Problem solving and risk management
• Manage different production teams and work with staff
• Irrigation installation
• Monitor and implement controls to ensure every team does its job
• Set up mini weekly budgets
• Experience in the following areas is beneficial – mechanical/construction/land prep
• Implement budgets – financial and production
• Quality control and ensuring a good quality product leaves the packhouse
• Fulfilling sales orders with various specs
