Groblersdal / Marble Hall area, Limpopo Province – South Africa: This role entails full responsibility of the day-to-day management of production activities for a unit of approximately 200ha.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Matric (Grade 12) is a minimum requirement
• Agricultural Diploma, or studies towards completion of such a qualification, will be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically within the citrus industry
• Valid driver’s Licence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English; Sepedi will be advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Planning and management of harvesting activities
• Management of contractors and labour
• Execution of agronomic activities, including pruning, manipulation, fertilisation, irrigation, and spraying programmes
• Monitoring control data and making timely adjustments where necessary
• Preparation and management of budgets
• Scheduling routine fleet maintenance
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with OHS requirements and relevant accreditation standards
