Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification advantageous. 
• Exceptional knowledge of cycling and golf products (Passion for the sport) is essential.
• Minimum of 1 year exposure in events coordination/management (exposure at school or university level will be considered).
• Proven ability to plan and execute sport events.
• Own transport essential.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Must be able to do physical work related to the set-up of the event. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of sport events, including venue selection, scheduling, budgeting, logistics, and participant engagement.
• Work with marketing, sponsorship, and operations teams to align event goals.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors for event resources and support.
• Create event timelines and schedules to meet budget and deadlines.
• Coordinate with sports organisations and officials to ensure event compliance.
• Implement marketing strategies to boost event attendance and revenue.
• Manage event staff, volunteers, and contractors, providing leadership and support throughout.
• Oversee event operations on-site, including setup, signage, registration, security, safety and hospitality services.
• Assess event outcomes and gather feedback to enhance future planning.
• Stay updated on sports event trends and technologies to innovate event experiences.
