Minimum requirement
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • Charismatic and motivated personality.
  • Ability to lead and motivate the Salesforce and Distributors to drive sales performance.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a manager within  a regional level in retail/distribution industry.
  • Able to travel within the african continent.
  • Display a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Display an indepth understanding of the Direct Sales industry, customer needs and competition.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Out of the box thinker.
  • Display data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and ability to build relationships to interact with all stakeholders of the business.
  • Strong drive for results.
  • Ability to coach and guide salesforce members.
  • Valid drivers‘ license.

Duties and responsibilities:

Main Duties
  • Monitor performance of the various Distributors to achieve sales goals.
  • Set performance standards for the region.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with all distributors to review their performance.
  • Conduct training initiatives to drive retention within the distributor business.
  • Lead with clear Sales KPI’s every quarter as champion.
  • Drive leadership development plans to improve manager growth count.
  • Deliver a geographical mapping by top 100 suburbs in each distributor geography.
  • Deliver and achieve a penetration plan by top 100 suburbs for each Salesforce level.
  • Review all distributors KPI`s with corrective actions and support in the monthly Strategy review.
  • Monthly Business Reviews to be finalised with the distributors including contact reports circulated 24 hours after the meeting.
  • Prioritise distributor cost and profitability management.
  • Accountable for distributor succession and changeovers.
  • Ensure monthly tracking of achievers of company trips and where applicable, implement corrective action.
  • Be instrumental in putting the monthly launch pack together.
  • Collaborate with Events to deliver exciting Salesforce trips and events.
  • Collaborate with finance on monthly vehicle programs to maintain cost reduction.
  • Ensure optimal management of defectives and incentives at distributors.
