Production and Maintenance Superintendent with Millwright qualification based in Isando

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional Production and Maintenance Superintendent with a Millwright Qualification and Millwright experience to oversee production processes and maintenance activities in a Factory Environment in Isando. This role will report directly to the Production Executive and requires strong  leadership, administration and technical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee repairs of equipment.
  • Manage a team of production staff and maintenance technicians.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Please note 50% of this role is administrative, applicant needs to have good administrative skills and computer literacy

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role or similar industry
  • Millwright qualification is imperative
  • Millwright experience is imperative
  • Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good Administrative skills
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • PDP Advantageous
  • Strong working knowledge of a factory environment
  • Supervisory experience is essential

  • Knowledge of production processes and maintenance techniques.

  • Computer Literacy MS office
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
