Purpose of the role:
To ensure accurate and timely handling of goods, maintain stock records, and assist in the smooth operation of the store’s daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory, equipment, or safety
- Adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment
- Good housekeeping
- Ensuring accuracy in inventory counts, order fulfillment, and documentation
- Ensuring orders are packed correctly, labelled accurately, and loaded into delivery
- Maintain inventory levels, organize storage areas, and conduct regular stock takes
- Demonstrate knowledge of receiving, storage and dispatching of goods within a designated storage facility
- Ability of stocking shelves, picking items for orders, and managing deliveries
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate/ equivalent
- Procurement qualifications will be an advantage
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic computer literacy
- Medically Fit
- Accurate numeracy skills
- Knowledge of handling and storage of Hazardous materials
- Excellent communication skills
