Lexdan Select is assisting a non-profit organisation in the construction sector with their search for an accountant, based in Blackheath.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Cashflow Management, daily updates and monthly forecasts (6 months in advance)
• Review and authorise cashbook & petty cash transactions/reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Maintaining and managing Labour System
• Accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements
• Cost Ledgers experience would be an advantage
• Annual audit preparation and management
• Ensure statutory compliance

 
Requirements:

• Bcom in accounting
• 6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Excel and Pastel Evolution proficiency
• Experience in the construction industry (advantageous)
