Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Completed 3 years of articles with a recognised accounting firm.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant auditing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience managing a team of at least 5 employees.
- Proficiency in CaseWare and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Plan and execute audit engagements from start to finish, including risk assessment, developing audit strategies, and reporting findings.
- Review the work of junior auditors and provide guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to clients, offering actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with management on special projects and other duties as required.
