Access Control Technician
We are recruiting for an Access Control Technician to join one of our clients at their offices based in Cullinan, Gauteng. The company specialises in the meat industry. The ideal candidate will come with at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Possess a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Valid Driver’s License and own Vehicle.
• Basic Computer Knowledge.
• Be willing to do physically active work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Offer technical guidance and suggestions for enhancing access control systems, including readers and turnstiles.
• Recognise potential areas for streamlining business operations.
• Explore and address issues with application functionality, offering assistance and troubleshooting for end users.
• Pricing Support Infrastructure Technician with various infrastructure-related duties.
• Provide after-hours system support for end users.
• Promptly address production hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Offer support in replacing malfunctioning equipment with backup hardware or conducting repairs.
• Embrace the Companies values both individually and as part of a team, fostering unity in the workplace.
• Engage actively in all people development efforts aligned with the Human Resources Strategy, covering areas like performance management, succession planning, and talent management, to uphold team performance standards.
• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships internally (with peers, team members, and managers) and externally (with service providers), taking corrective measures when necessary to align with organisational objectives.
• Offer specialised technical support to colleagues when needed, ensuring collective goals are met.
• Adhere to Company group Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and protocols in all tasks and responsibilities.
