An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a candidate to control and coordinate warehouse movements on SAP, schedule and plan loads on TMS, manage the return process, and maintain audit traceability through proper administrative systems. This is a 6-month contract position.

Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have relevant Administration Certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Logistics Administration
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP transactions is essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure without losing the ability to systematically complete set tasks
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, E-mail, Project etc.)
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and printing picking slips and handing them over to the transporter for delivery planning.
  • Creating shipments.
  • Ensuring delivery notes are created when the transporter liaises with customers for deliveries.
  • Creating a spreadsheet for KPIs related to customer care deliveries.
  • Creating VLO60 reports to review open deliveries daily.
  • Ensuring all drivers sign delivery notes when loads are dispatched by the warehouse.
  • Coordinating picking and transfers.
  • GRV-Ing all customer returns when received at the warehouse.
  • Supplying credit to customers when sampling is completed, and results of the seed are verified by the lab.
  • Ensuring all consignment stock is returned and the SAP system is updated.
  • Assisting with stock takes.
  • Ensuring all P.O.D.s are returned and filed.
  • Controlling all transport invoices for carriers on the TMS system and verifying costs.
  • Utilizing company resources efficiently to control costs.
  • Complying with goals (DPR) set for quality, reliability, cost, and people.
  • Attending safety meetings and ensuring all training for CBT is in compliance.
  • Assisting with inventory control.
  • Managing procurement for the warehouse, requesting quotations, creating purchase requisitions, receiving purchase orders, goods receiving on the procurement system, and loading invoices to LINup.
  • Capturing data for the new open pick-up slips.
  • Typing shipment advice notes for scheduled deliveries.
  • Assisting with load planning.
  • Assisting with the creation of shipments on TMS.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers.
  • Ensuring the safety and health of themselves and those around them.
  • Being familiar with and adhering to established HSE procedures, rules, and work practices.
  • Utilizing and properly maintaining all necessary/provided safety or personal protective equipment and controls.
  • Immediately reporting all workplace hazards and incidents through reporting channels.
