A leading agricultural company focused on advancing crop production through innovative breeding techniques is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead and grow its FMCG sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the FMCG market, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue and market expansion.

Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally a B. Com.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales management or related field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Must have experience managing distributors (Independent and Wholesale Market), key accounts, and sales teams
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
  • Target-driven with a strong understanding of market dynamics

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Managing and expanding distributor and retail networks.
  • Leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
  • Ensuring effective in-market execution, visibility, and availability of products.
  • Preparing sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews.
