Our client operating within the mining sector has a vacancy for a Talent Acquisition Officer to be situated in Kempton Park, Gauteng.
Role overview:
- Conduct thorough job analysis and skills gap assessments to identify key competencies and qualifications required for each position.
- Use various sourcing channels (social media, professional networks, internal recruitment platform (Breezy), LinkedIn, Pnet, recruitment agencies etc), referrals, etc. to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
- Review CVs to assess candidate qualifications, experience and match them with job requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring timely and efficient candidate engagement.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidate performance and suitability based on established selection criteria
- Facilitate job offer negotiations, working closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks (MIE), assessments (PI), and reference checks
- Prepare on boarding pack for new hires
Experience and Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate
- Relevant Human Resources / Talent Acquisition qualification
- At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communicator with a sense of urgency to reach deadlines
