A leading Consulting Asset Management firm is looking for a skilled Maintenance Planner to join their team, supporting operations in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong planning, scheduling, and asset management expertise within heavy industrial or mining environments.

Contract position: 12 Months (with potential for renewal)
Location: Gauteng

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate maintenance planning activities.
• Drive the implementation of asset management best practices.
• Ensure alignment with production and material management systems.
• Master Data Management & SAP Implementation
• Bulk Uploads: Execute bulk uploads of maintenance tactics, ensuring accurate linkage between maintenance items, task lists, and maintenance plans.
• Hierarchy Management: Structure and validate Functional Location hierarchies to ensure correct parent-child relationships and system boundaries.
• Asset Register Hygiene: Perform asset register cleansing to identify and rectify duplicates, missing assets, and incorrect attributes.
• SAP PM Expertise: Advanced knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance Master Data (Functional Locations, Equipment, BOMs, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans) is non-negotiable

Contract position - suit someone who is based in JHB or surrounds
