We are recruiting for a Business Development & Lead Generation Intern role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying potential clients through research, outreach, and digital tools.
  • Support the sales team in developing pipelines for ICT products (hardware, software) and services (cloud solutions, managed services, consulting).
  • Participate in client engagement activities such as calls, emails, and product demonstrations under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with lead generation strategies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on lead generation outcomes and business development activities.
 
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the WIL placement, the graduate will:
  • Understand ICT sales cycles and business development processes.
  • Gain practical experience in lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Develop communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Learn to use CRM and digital sales tools effectively.
  • Acquire knowledge of ICT products and services, including their value propositions.
 
Requirements
  • Currently completing a qualification in ICT, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong interest in technology and business development.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
