Key Accounts Manager – Mining (Wadeville / Rustenburg)
Qualifications 
  • Matric 
  • Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Mining, or a relevant business-related qualification
Requirements 
  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in key account management or technical sales within the mining or bulk materials handling industry
  • Proven experience in selling underground mining equipment (highly advantageous)
  • Sound understanding of mining operations, particularly extraction systems and maintenance practices
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively to mining sites
Duties 
  • Develop, manage, and grow relationships with strategic mining clients, including plant managers, procurement teams, and maintenance personnel
  • Promote and sell underground steel mining equipment
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new mining clients
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess operational needs and recommend suitable technical solutions
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure solutions meet customer specifications and expectations
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
  • Monitor competitor activity, market conditions, and industry trends
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Provide effective after-sales support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
