Senior Project Engineer (Africa)
Qualification
  • Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Degree.
  • Project Management Qualification would be advantageous.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience on capital processing equipment in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering and project experience.
  • Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.
  • Must be able to execute projects with Senior Management / Project Manager assistance and management.
  • Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices.
  • Periodic travel to countries neighbouring South Africa. Valid RSA Passport.
Duties
  • Required to manage his/her own projects in accordance with the company’s specifications and requirements.
  • Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects assigned and to establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.
  • Management of project cost, quality, timing, scope, freight and site works.
