Opportunity/Job Purpose
M+S is looking for a dedicated Region Accounts Manager based in Johannesburg, to join the Sales/Marketing department. This position is well suited to an individual who is accountable and can work well independently.
 
Maxwell+Spark fosters a diverse, fast paced, progressive work environment. This position requires someone dynamic with an ability to function effectively independently who will be able to travel around the country implementing modifications to operating products. Office support will be provided.

What will you do?
Role and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Sales/Business development
Identify and establish new business relationships with potential clients and partners.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site evaluations
Prepare and present persuasive proposals to secure new business.
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
 
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project implementation.
 
Sales Reporting and Forecasting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and performance against targets.

Requirements

6+ years’ experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably in the logistics and/or materials handling industry
Experience in large and small organizations is an advantage.
Self-driven, independent, and disciplined
Enjoys and understands the process of building and driving new sales in technology.
Be proficient in the entire MS Office sweet, including Excel, in CRM software, and willing to learn more.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
Tertiary qualifications, particularly in commerce, engineering or science would be beneficial.
Own transport with valid driver's license
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Remote working Requirements
M+S will provide a laptop, second screen (if required) and cover the cost of stable internet setup. Additional office requirements can be discussed.
M+S to provide (or contribute towards) a data SIM card. This could form part of the home internet setup if reliable.
M+S to provide a mobile phone allowance or a separate contract
Salesperson must be available to travel to KZN for training for 1 week a month for the first 3 months of employment. Additional KZN based training may be required provinces.
