A specialised people development, namely psychometric assessments, wellness and training, organisational structure and business consulting company requires the above to drive the sales strategy for the business on a national basis.
Minimum requirements for the role:
  • A 3 year degree in Psychology or related qualification or a business related qualification is essential for the role.
  • Previous experience having worked in a New Business Development Sales Role being involved in the sales of services or solutions in a consulting type environment is preferred for the role.  
  • Must be computer literate with Microsoft packages Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must have experience in Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and SharePoint.
  • The successful individual will be passionate about sales, effective at connecting and directing clients towards services and be highly driven and achievement-oriented.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and negotiation ability.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Driving the sales strategy for the business with regards to wellness, organizational development, psychometric analysis and learning and development for the company.
  • Meeting with new clients to discuss their needs in terms of wellness, psychometric analysis, etc.
  • Performing the full sales function, including prospecting, initiating contact, exploring customer needs, selling products etc.
  • Managing and driving new potential clients that have been referred to the business.
  • Presenting services and solutions at client’s offices along with the companies technical personnel.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining a marketing strategy for the business with management. In addition, working with the external marketing company to ensure online strategies and website search optimization is aligned to all campaigns.
  • Presenting sales reports to senior management.
  • Keeping abreast of trends and opportunities within the industry as well as economic and competitive market news.
  • Maintaining and developing professional working relationships with clients and colleagues.
