Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for a Cabin Crew Instructor / DE at our head office
in Bonaero Park. The successful applicant will report to the Manager: Training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The overall objective of the DE Instructor will be to coach
and assist Cabin Crews in reaching a competent level of onboard
performance including the following;
- Responsible to the Training Manager to conduct Cabin
Crew training and testing in accordance with SFR123
TPM;
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of the Rules, policies,
training requirements, operational procedures directly
related to all aspects for the specific role;
- Responsible to develop and maintain Cabin Crew
training strategies to ensure a high standard of service
achievement;
- Compile Training Manuals and all related
documentation required for training purposes;
- Liaise with the responsible person of other
departments within SAFAIR to ensure that training
objectives are both understood and compatible with
SAFAIR requirements;
- DEs shall conduct skills tests and issue skills tests
reports for Initial Courses, Conversion Courses,
Competency Checks and Recurrent training for Safair
cabin crew as well as for external crews of contract
Airlines as required;
- Submit all relevant forms to SACAA;
- Attend compulsory CDE conference as required by
SACAA;
- Comply with the accreditation process as per SACAA
regulations;
- Required to undertake any other duties assigned to
him / her by the Training Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Grade 12;
- Signed out by SACAA as a Cabin Safety Instructor;
- Train-the-Trainer Qualification;
- Assessor and Moderator Course;
- Valid and current Cabin Crew Licence and Medical
Certificate;
- Minimum 2 years flying experience or a minimum of
1000 flying hours as a Cabin Crew Member;
- Meet the requirements as set out in CAR Part
64.01.10;
- Valid covid-19 vaccination card.
