An emerging private hospital group who develop and manage their portfolio hospitals by serving rural and peri-urban clients across three provinces is looking for an experienced Patient Administration Manager.
This role will be responsible to ensure that the Group's Hospitals are implementing accurate and timely billing processes for healthcare services provided to patients. To assist with ensuring the Hospital Billing and Case Management departments are following correct process in reviewing medical records, verifying billing codes, and managing insurance claims to ensure compliance with regulatory NHN guidelines and maximize revenue for the hospital.
The Patient Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient administration within a healthcare facility. This role involves managing patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing and insurance processing, staff supervision, compliance with regulatory standards, and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Patient Registration and Admission: Develop and implement standardized procedures for patient registration and admission
  • Appointment Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Oversee appointment scheduling processes to optimize clinic workflow and resource utilization
  • Billing and Insurance Management: Manage billing processes, including invoicing patients and processing insurance claims
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff members, including patient registration clerks and billing specialists
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Patient Satisfaction and Experience Enhancement: Monitor patient satisfaction levels through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and direct communication
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT departments to streamline processes and resolve interdisciplinary issues
Requirements:
  • Hospital Billing Audit Experience: Extensive experience in hospital NHN billing, coding, and revenue cycle management is essential. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of billing processes, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements
  • Case Management Experience: Experience in case management within a healthcare setting is required
  • Leadership Experience: Supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to oversee teams, manage projects, and drive organizational initiatives
  • Healthcare Finance Experience: Experience in healthcare finance, including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue optimization
